Delayed Friday reporting authorized at Fort Hood

FORT HOOD, Texas -- Due to the potential for inclement weather, the III Corps and Fort Hood senior commander has authorized delayed reporting for Dec. 6.

All units will cancel physical training.

Soldiers and Airmen will report to work at 9 a.m.

Department of the Army civilians will report to work at 8 a.m.

Contract personnel should contact their employers for report times.

Meadows CDC will open for mission essential personnel at 5:30 a.m.. All other CYSS child care programs such as School Age Care (SAC) and CDCs will open at 7 a.m.

As command decisions are made, changes in the current reporting procedures may call for adjustments to this schedule,  to include the possibility of the installation being closed.

Fort Hood military and civilian personnel are encouraged to check for updates on the post’s Web site at www.hood.army.mil , Fort Hood Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/forthood ,  local radio and television stations or call the Fort Hood weather hotline at (254) 287-6700.
