III Corps and the 11th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade are hosting an event that recognizes single and unaccompanied soldiers for their contribution to the success of the Army's mission.
Soldiers will participate in organized team-building activities. Team-building activities will include sumo wrestling, human foosball, pit stop challenge, hula-hoop, tic-tac-toe and a cooking tournament.

August 19, 2016 Great place to recognize women’s equality day
FORT HOOD, Texas — Media representatives are invited to cover the Women’s Equality Day observance at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 26 at Club Hood’s Grande Ballroom here.
III Corps Equal Opportunity Office and the 11th Tactical Theater Signal Brigade are hosting an event that celebrates the anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
The guest speakers include three distinguished panel members: Brig. Gen. Maria B. Barrett, who currently serves as the deputy commanding general for the Joint Force Headquarters – Cyber (JFHQ-C), United States Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), Fort Meade, Maryland, Command Sgt. Maj. Jill Crosby, 1st Cavalry Division Sustainment Brigade command sergeant major, and retired Chief Warrant Officer 5 Jeanne Pace, former Women’s Army Corps (WAC) member.

August 19, 2016 11th Signal Brigade Change of Command/Change of Responsibility
FORT HOOD, Texas -- The U.S. Army's 11th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade will will hold a Change of Command and Change of Responsibility Ceremony in honor of the outgoing command team, Col. James C. Parks III and Command Sgt. Maj. Maurice S. Rambert and the incoming command team, Col. Gary G. Ridenhour and Command Sgt. Maj. Victor Fernandez II at 9 a.m. on July 17 at Sadowski Field here.
Col. Ridenhour comes to Fort Hood from his previous assignment as a student at the Air War College, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. Command Sgt. Maj. Fernandez is currently serving in the III Corps G6 after completing his previous assignment as the command sergeant major of the 1st Special Troops Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).
