Severe weather delayed reporting authorized for Fort Hood employees

FORT HOOD, Texas -- The III Corps and Fort Hood commander has authorized delayed reporting for Soldiers and Department of the Army civilians for Jan. 4 here.

Lt. Gen. Mark Milley, commander, cancelled physical training and authorized an active-duty military report time of 10 a.m. The general also authorized delayed reporting at 9 a.m. for DA civilians.

However, mission essential personnel are to report at their normal duty report time.

Contract personnel should contact their employers for report times. 

Employees should monitor local news stations and www.hood.army.mil for the latest updates on the weather. They should use extreme caution while on the area roads. They can also call (254) 287-6700.
