FORT HOOD, Texas — 3d Cavalry Regiment troopers will provide a two-vehicle static display at the Salado public library during the annual Touch-a-Truck community event, Oct. 14, 2022.

There will be vehicles from first responders and other municipal organizations present at the event, which is free and open to the public.

Fort Hood units partner with communities throughout central Texas and beyond, routinely supporting community events with assets to include guest speakers and exhibits.

3CR partners with Salado, Harker Heights and Fort Worth and most recently provided static displays at the Texas Motor Speedway during the Auto Trader Echo Park Automotive 500 NASCAR race.

Media who RSVP should arrive at the Salado Public Library at 1151 N. Main St, Salado, Texas 76571 at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 14. The event will begin at 2 p.m. and is scheduled to last approximately two hours.
