Brave Rifles Week 2013 Media Advisory

FORT HOOD, Texas – The 3d Cavalry Regiment will celebrate 167 years of unit history during the annual “Brave Rifles Birthday Week” scheduled for May 13 – 19 on Fort Hood. The weeklong event features team sports competitions between representatives from each squadron and will culminate with the 2^nd Annual Brave Rifles 5k / 10k Run in Salado, TX. The event this year will also reunite past and present members of the Regiment who served in 3CR during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
