"Steel" Squadron, 3d Cavalry Regiment M777 live-fire exercise

The 3d Cavalry Regiment Public Affairs Office invites all media to Steel Squadron's live-fire exercise using M777 Howitzer artillery weapons scheduled for Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. 11:30 on post. This is the chance for your organization to cover one of America's premier Fires squadrons. Steel Squadron is the only unit on post utilizing the recently fielded weapon system. The live fire is the culmination of the M777 Operational New Equipment Training (OPNET) the unit conducted over the last two weeks.
