Fort Hood to host Operation Austin II job fair
FORT HOOD, Texas -- In collaboration with The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce and the City of Austin, Fort Hood will host Operation Austin II job fair, an initiative to boost Central Texas jobs for Soldiers, veterans and their families. More than 60 companies will be in attendance. The event will take place from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Oct. 18 at Club Hood here.
Additionally, seasoned recruiters from these companies will provide advice seminars on creating professional resume building, interview techniques and other job tips. There are three sessions: 10:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m., 11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. - 2 p.m.
