FORT HOOD, Texas – Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center’s Behavioral Health Department will host its annual Behavioral Health and Wellness Information fair Tuesday, May 2, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the main hospital.

Organizations from Fort Hood and local communities will highlight programs and services promoting overall health, wellbeing and personal growth. Agencies will also provide information on stress management, depression, autism, Post Traumatic Stress, alcohol and substance abuse, self-care and wellness.

Behavioral health is far more than the absence of a behavioral health disorder. It includes overall psychological, physical and spiritual resilience. The health and wellness fair is aimed at helping fight stigma, provide support, and educate community members about resources and programs that support health and wellness as well as build resilience.
