FORT HOOD, Texas – Basetrack Live, a multimedia production depicting the impact of deployment on the Soldier, family and community is coming to Fort Hood Jan 30. through Feb. 1.

Fort Hood Soldiers and Family members are invited to attend one of four showings at Palmer Theater.  Show times are 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. both days.

The 90-minute production follows a group of Marines from the First Battalion, Eighth Marines, during their deployment to southern Afghanistan.

 

The production, considered by the New York Times to be “breathtaking and boundary-breaking,” involves two actors playing the husband and wife and includes the sights, sounds and personal accounts from those serving with Czubai.

 

A media opportunity is set for 1:15 p.m. Jan. 30 during the full dress rehearsal. Fort Hood officials along with Basetrack executive producer, director, and cast members will be available for interview. Gate time is 12:45 p.m.
